REVIEW: Critics' Pick from NOW Magazine (Toronto)

NOW Magazine Toronto, SummerWorks

White Rabbit, Red Rabbit Each night a different actor performs a cold reading of Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour's playful-yet-moving experiment (the script arrives in a sealed envelope at the start of the show). What follows is a unique exploration of the role of author, death and suicide, and how ideas – far removed in time and space from their originators – can have potent agency in the present. The off-the-cuff performance, which includes lots of audience participation, makes for an unpredictable and fascinating theatre experience.
